Catch Zulu Winter Live In NYC!
6/12: New York, NY @ Mercury Lounge

Oxfordshire, England’s Zulu Winter is preparing to release Language,a debut album that bleeds with sentiment and syncopated dance beats. Inaddition to gaining support from the likes of PAPER, FILTER, KCRW and BrooklynVegan, the band’s danceable single “Silver Tongue” has been a building momentum on BBCRadio 1. Today, the band has released a chilling video for the track, full ofominous figures and mysteriously eerie imagery.

Language opens with “Key To My Heart,” a sincere message oflove that showcases the depth and richness of the band’s sound with layers ofswirling instrumentation. The upbeat “Silver Tongue” is driven by anenergetic bass line that leads to a danceable chorus. “Bitter Moon” isan emotionally charged track hinged on a powerful chorus, inviting listeners toexperience a vulnerable side of the band. “We Should Be Swimming” is amelancholic pop-song running over a compelling rhythm.

Fresh off of a US tour with Polica, Zulu Winter will return to New York onceagain for a show at Mercury Lounge next month. Be sure to catch the band live, and be on the lookout for Language, out June 19th via Arts& Crafts.
