I recently saw indie sensation Florence & The Machine at the LG Arena Birmingham. It was the first time I have been to see F&TM live and they were truly amazing.

I went to see F&TM because I love the debut album 'Lungs' released late 2009 as well as the bands second studio album 'Ceremonials' released late 2010. Both albums were brilliant and F&TC won The MasterCard British Album award at the 2010 BRIT Awards. Seeing the band live really proved just how amazingly talented they are. Supporting acts 'The Horrors' and 'The Mirrors' who were also great but I was thinking get off so F&TM can get on!

I have been to plenty concerts in the LG Arena, and I think it is a brilliant venue, I was seated quite close to the stage so I had a great view and the sound was great, although I wouldn't recommend sitting to far up as the sound gets distorted.

F&TM performed most of the songs from the 'Ceremonials' album and a few from the debut album 'Lungs'. Florence belted out 'Cosmic Love' with an accompanying harp, wearing a elaborate black cloak which see later removed to reveal a black cat suit. Other songs were performed such as 'You've got the love' and 'No light, No light' which was personally my absolute favourite.

Florence's energy was amazing she jumped around the stage keeping everybody in the crowd entertained bare footed, which was a good idea because I think she would have broken her neck if she had attempted to wear heels. It was all about the music with F&TC, there was no fancy outfit changes, it was pure talent. Florence asked the crowd to join in and had almost 12500 fans jumping which was quite a surreal moment.

I loved F&TC live and cannot wait to see them again!
