Recorded in Wales withproducer Chris Fielding (Primordial, Electric Wizard), The Threnody ofTriumph is the band’s third full-length and will hit North Americanshores via Candlelight Record on Tuesday, September 25.

WINTERFYLLETH combine vicious yet moody,folk-inspired black metal that harkens back to the early days of Enslaved andold-school Ulver. The band’s lyrics delve into tales of England’s archaichistory, recounting major events, battles. They draw inspiration from sites andscenery gracing the countryside that has played an integral part in thecountry’s history. Formed in 2007, WINTERFYLLETH featuresVocalist/guitarist C. Naughton with drummer S. Lucas, guitarist M. Wood, andbassist N. Wallwork.
